Maak en Voorbereiding van Geaktiveerde Houtskool.

Geaktiveerde houtskool word gevorm deur die “droë distillasie van hout” en word geproduseer van verskillende hout, doppe van vrugte en neute. Gewilde grondstowwe (houtsoorte) is populier, beukehout, dennehout en ook neutdoppe.

“Droë distillasie” beteken gewoon dat geaktiveerde houtskool in ‘n proses voorberei moet word waar suurstof afgesny word in die verbrandingsproses.  Hierdie houtprodukte word dus in ‘n proses vervaardig waar suurstof afgesny word. Daarna gaan dit deur verdere chemiese prosesse, om die eienskappe van die doel van geaktiveerde houtskool te verhoog.

Eienskappe soos om die houtskoolstruktuur meer poreus te kry vir verbeterde absorpsie van gifstowwe en ander produkte sou dit welke manier ingeneem word.

GENERAL USES OF PIERRE@ D OXI²

  1. Introduction

This OXI² Pre-Wash was developed and tested to remove hardened stains and smells caused by urine on carpets. Mammalian excretions such as blood, faeces, urine etc. consist of a combination of ammonia, bacteria, hormones, and uric acid.

As the urine breaks down, the ammonia concentration increases and sulphur-containing organic chemical substances known as mercaptans are then released.

  1. The chemical structure of Urea

The chemical structure of urea is written as (NH2)2CO. This means that two nitrogen-containing, ammonia-derived molecules are joined to a carbon molecule that has a double bond to an oxygen molecule.

  1. Contents

Dog urine contains urea, creatine, uric acid, carbohydrates, enzymes, fatty acids, hormones, sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium, calcium and ammonia.

  1. Animal-related marks and stenches

When a dog smells another dog’s urine, it can detect the hormones, such as estrogen or testosterone that is present in the urine. That stimulates their reaction to mark or remark the area.

DO NOT CLEAN such affected areas with products containing ammonia. For urine turns as explained above, into ammonia, react then on a molecular level to the chemical structure, worsening the urine stench as it releases it in a more concentrated form.

 MIXING SOLUTION OF 02 PRE-WASH

Pierre @ D OXI² Pre-Wash will remain active for 5-6hrs, after which they should be discarded. Unused material may be poured down the drain. It will help clean and deodorize your disposal or toilet.02 Pre-Wash is most effective when mixed and used in warm to hot water (65degrC)

  1. GENERAL CLEANING
  • Mix 120ml (120g) of Pre-Wash in 3.8 litres of warm or hot water
  • Heavy Cleaning: Mix 240ml (240g) in 3.8 litres of warm or hot water
  • Soaks: Mix 60 – 120ml (120g) in 3.8 litres of warm or hot water
  • Paste: Mix 30-60ml/g with just enough water to make a paste
  1. CARPET, CAPRPET PADDING, COUCHES, UPHOLSTERY
  • To de-stain and deodorize carpet, start by mixing a general cleaning solution. Remove as much of the dirt or
  • liquid as possible.
  • Spray Pre-Wash solution on spot, work into area with a brush and let stand 5-10 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly by pouring fresh water over spot, blot up with a clean cloth or towel.
  • Vacuum thoroughly when completely dry.
  • Always test for color fastness before applying OXI² Pre-Wash.
  • Carpet cleaning machines add 30ml/g per 3.8litre of warm water in the solution tank.
  1. KITCHEN
  • For stained plastic ware, dishes, dish rags and dish towels add 30ml/g to 60ml/g to the container to be cleaned or to the dishwater and soak for at least 15 minutes.
  • To keep your drains and disposals clear and smelling fresh add 30g/ml in 240ml/g of hot water and allow solution to sit in drain overnight
  1. COFFEE POTS
  • To de stain your coffee pot, add 30g/ml if 02 Pre-Wash into a coffee pot of hot water, soak 1015minutes and rinse thoroughly.
  1. REFRIGERATORS
  • To eliminate mould, mildew and other organic stains, mix general cleaning solution in a squirt bottle and apply with a soft cloth, let stand 10-20minutes, wipe and rinse thoroughly. Cutting Boards, Tupperware, and Kitchen Counter Tops
  • To clean and deodorize your whole kitchen use a general cleaning solution and apply with a soft cloth, squirt bottle or sprayer, let stand 5-10 minutes and rinse.
  • For extra strong stains, soak item with an extra strong solution for 15-20minutes, rinse thoroughly
  1. BATHROOM
  • For septic systems add 120ml/g of Pre-Wash toilet and flush into the septic system twice a week. For toilets add 90g/ml, wait for 15 minutes then scrub.
  • For shower curtains soak in 30g per 3.8 litre of hot water, for mildew stains soak overnight.
  • For bathtub and shower use make a paste with hot water, scrub with cloth or sponge, wait 15 minutes then rinse or use
  1. WATER DAMAGE CLEANUP & MILDEW REMOVAL
  • To remove mould and mildew prior to painting or to clean up water damage, mix a soaking solution, apply to surface, and scrub with a brush or sponge. Let stand 20-30 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
  1. INDOOR-OUTDOOR CARPETING, FENCING, CONCREETE, SIDING, WOOD DECKS, AND STUCCO.
  • To remove weathered stains for wood decking, fencing, siding, concrete, and stucco, use a general cleaning solution and apply with a clean lawn sprayer. Let stand 10-30minutes, scrub if necessary and rinse thoroughly.
  • Or mix a general cleaning solution in a bucket and apply with broom or brush, then scrub and rinse thoroughly
  1. FIREPLACES & BRICKS
  • Use the general cleaning solution and apply to fireplace or bricks with a scrub brush or broom and allow standing 10- 20minutes and rinsing thoroughly with fresh water.
  • Scrub before rinsing if necessary
  1. YARD
  • For deodorizing garbage cans add 15g/ml per 3.8litre of water and let soak. For lawn furniture add 60g/ml to hot water, scrub, wait 15 minutes, then rinse. For all weather carpeting add 120g/ml to 3.8litre of warm water scrub with a stiff broom, wait 20 minutes and rinse.
  1. HOUSEHOLD
  • To de-stain and deodorize carpets add 30g/ml Pre-Wash per 3.8litre of carpet shampoo prior to cleaning.
  • For tiles add 180g/ml per 3.8litres of hot water, spray on tiles, wait 15minutes then rinse. For mops add 90g to 3.8litre of hot water, soak overnight then rinse.
  • For mildew removal or to clean basement floors after water damage from flooding add 120g/ml to 3.8litre of hot water, scrub surface, wait 30 minutes then rinse.
  • To clean and deodorize cat litter boxes soak then in 902g/ml if Prewash per 3.8litre of water for 20 minutes then rinse.
  • For urine, faeces or vomit stains on carpets or upholstery add one teaspoon of 02 Pre-wash to 240ml water, wipe onto stain, wait 10 minutes the rinse
  1. CAMPING
  • To clean and deodorize coolers add 60g/ml if Prewash per 3.8 litres of hot water soak for 20 minutes, then rinse, for boat sails, cushions, ropes, camping gear, tent sets add120g/ml per 3.8 litres of hot water soak for 30 minutes then rinse

Natural Biological Products in Agricultural Waste Treatment

Introduction

There is a sincere need and demand for safe and natural products to solve and deal with stenches and animal waste in animal shelters, chicken houses, piggeries, cattle kraals, slaughter houses and dairies. In household’s urine stenches or often a problem, where children are involved and general smell and hygiene is important.
Many of the shelve and household chemicals are harmful. Not only to the environment, but to man and animal in general causing skin problems, asthmatic conditions and allergies. How does PIERRE @ D BIO ENZYME Liquid out-perform various harmful pathogens?

The SABS Standard requires a 5-minute killing time for the most common hygiene microorganisms such as S. aureus, E. coli and P. aeruginosa.

Mode of Function of Bacillus bacteria as Bio-Enzymes
In contrast to the SABS standard, being the quickest time a sanitizer (QAC- based) is supposed to kill, Bacillus-containing sanitizers such as the Pierre @ D Bio-Enzymes operate in a different mode. Bio-Enzymes are live bacteria that needs to compete with other microorganisms for a food sources. Hence the longer contact time required by these bacteria to kill its competitors.

1. The pattern that bacillus bacteria uses, (as seen in the study), is to kill or out compete the other bacteria. The answer lies in its morphological structure. Where Bacillus bacteria grows, other microorganisms will move away from that specific waste food source.

2. Bacillus bacteria have a larger morphological structure than other organisms. It creates a zone of inhibition, preventing growth of other microorganisms (known as morphological inhibition).

3. This ensures fewer numbers of other microorganisms surviving, but a rapid growth of bacillus bacteria absorbing waste product such as sewerage, milk spills, waste pills, grease traps etc.

Verskeie faktore dra by tot die ontwikkeling van oorkanaalprobleme.  Die Chinese Sharpei is veral vatbaar vir oorkanaalprobleme weens hul nou oorkanale wat tot gevolg het dat bitter min lugvloei in die kanaal plaasvind om dit droog te hou en dus vir bakterieë en ander organismes die ideale omgewing skep.

Tekens van oorinfeksies en oormyte

  • Skud van kop

Meer as een tipe bakterie kan by oorinfeksies betrokke wees, wat die behandeling daarvan met antibiotika bemoeilik.

  1. Ceruminous otitis” gaan gewoonlik gepaard met primëre “seborrhea”. Dit is ‘n oormatige opbou van geel, olierige was in die oorkanale wat die ideale medium is vir bakterieë en gis om op te bou.  Behandeling is gerig om die ore en oorkanaal skoon te hou en ook die ander velkondisies te beheer.
  2. Bacterial otitis” in sy akute vorm word gewoonlik veroorsaak deur die bekende “Staphylococci” bakterie. Die uitskeiding is natterig en gewoonlik ligbruin.  Kroniese infeksies word veroorsaak deur die “Proteus” en/of “Pseudomonas” bakterie, wat se afskeidings kenmerkend geel of groenerig is, alhoewel daar al uitsonderings was op hierdie reël.
  3. Gis infeksies (Yeast or fungal infections”) kan die gevolge wees van antibiotiese behandeling vir bakteriese oorinfeksies. Kan ook die gevolg van honde wat sukkel met atopiese dermatitus of “atopic dermatitis”, voedsel veroorsakende dermatitis, en “seborrheic” velkondisies. Kenmerkend van gis is ‘n bruin, olierige was uitskeiding met ‘n kenmerkende stank en ore wat inflammasie het en vogtigheid in die ore.  Hierdie kondisies bly voortbestaan totdat onderliggende velsiektes opgelos is.

Uriensamestelling van honde katte. Skoonmaakmiddels

Inleiding:

Soos genoem, is die reuk van troeteldiere se uriene in die huis ‘n uitdaging waarmee elke diereliefhebber mee uitgedaag word. Hoekom ruik (stink) dit so en wat kan mens daaromtrent doen?

Waaruit bestaan uriene

Die elemente in uriene wissel matig soos wat die dieet wissel, die tyd van die dag speel ‘n rol en ook wateropname. Dit bly egter redelik konstant in sy elemente en samestelling.

Uriene is ‘n kombinasie van water, ammoniak, bakterie, hormone, kreatien, potassium, soute, magnesium, kalsium, vetsure en ensieme.

Dit is alles natuurlike organiese produkte wat deur die natuurlike prosesse van die niere, blaas, urienwegstelsel, geslagsorgane verwerk en uitgeskei word. By manlike diere speel die prostaat n rol en by vroulike diere die afskeiding van hul normale siklusse.

Wat veroorsaak die skerp reuk

Soos wat die water uit die uitgeskeide uriene verdamp, verhoog die ammoniak konsentrasie van die urien.  Daarmee saam ontsnap die waterstof molekule en verbind dit met ‘n swaelmolekule. Op sy beurt vorm dit “Thiole “of “Mercapans”

Thiole is die chemiese elemente wat gevind word by vars gesnyde uie of die elemente in ‘n muishond se uriene wat die skerp stank afgee. Thiole is ook te vinde in natuurlike gas en petroleum en die verrotting in produkte soos kool.

Waarmee word dit skoongemaak

Bogenoemde is presies die redes waarom honde en katte se uriene nie met ammoniak tipe produkte skoon te maak nie. Jy voeg net meer ammoniak tot die probleem toe. Buitendien, ammoniak is ‘n natuurlike element in honde se uriene en kan juis daarom dink dit is natuurlik om wel hier te urineer, want sy ouers doen dit dan gereeld.

Dit is daarom beter om glad nie met ammoniakformulasies in skoonmaakmiddels te werk  waar troeteldiere in die huis of hokke is nie. Dit stimuleer hul om daar te urineer.

Hoe beïnvloed dit die gedrag van troeteldiere

Veel meer kan geskrywe word rakende die uriene van mens en dier omdat beide soogdiere is. Wat beteken dat die uriensamestelling maar baie dieselfde is.

Weens hul vermoë om miljoene kere beter as ‘n mens te ruik, speel die mens se persoonlike higiëne ‘n baie groot rol in die gedrag en optrede van diere se urinering op matte in huise.  Dit is gevul met ammoniak, stimulerende hormone en ander chemiese stowwe wat hul breine stimuleer en reaksies ontlok.

Die afskeiding (stank) van stofmyte, goggas en ander organismes wat almal reuke (thiole) in beskerming, voortplanting en vlug of veg, beïnvloed jou hond se gedrag t.o.v. urinering in die huis.
